Hi! My name is Leviya and I write and make videos about basketball, fandom, identity, the internet, and so much more. I live in New York City with my little orange cat named Tango.I graduated from American University with a bachelor's in Communications in 2024, and I'm currently working on my master's degree in Media, Culture, and Communications at NYU.I've been writing professionally for the past six years, though I'd say I've been a writer ever since I first learned how to string a sentence together. My work is thoughtful and eclectic, and I love connecting the dots in the ways you'd least expect.I'm currently working on a book called Ball Is Afterlife, which is a combined nonfiction book and memoir about grief, mythology, and basketball.When I'm not writing, editing, and doing free PR for NBA bench players, I can be found journaling, roller skating, making jewelry, playing video games, and eating pickled radish.Thanks for checking out my work!
